All Components has been a leading memory distributor to customers worldwide since 1984 and soon will be changing our name to Avant North America. In 2004, the executive decision was made to move All Components to Austin, Texas to unify with Avant Technology, our memory engineering and manufacturing arm. Combined, both companies now occupy a 60,000 sq. ft. facility that encompasses the engineering, manufacturing, sales, and distribution of our memory products. The consolidation of all aspects of our business has enabled numerous improvements including: reduced lead-time, improved quality control, and greater availability of memory products.
Our Austin facility is ISO 9001-2000 registered confirming our dedication to quality. We are CMTL certified, utilizing an Intel compatibility test lab to ensure that our memory is fully compatible with leading computer motherboards. We also members of JEDEC to make certain our memory remains on the cutting edge of technology. These certifications continue to ensure that our memory solutions are meeting or exceeding industry standards.
A new name makes sense. CEO Tim Peddecord explains, “By consolidating our two companies we are improving our business and building a unified brand image at the same time.” All Components will officially become Avant North America in the summer of 2008.
